Strive CEO Matt Cole said his framework is to stay long Bitcoin and short the dollar, citing historical outperformance of scarce assets against monetary debasement, according to BlockBeats.
Macro comparison
Cole cited gold’s 9.0% compound annual growth versus 6.7% for M2 since 1970. He also cited 9.5% versus 6.3% since the global financial crisis and 18.3% versus 6.5% since Covid-19. Those figures are Cole’s comparisons.
Strive strategy
Cole said amplification ratio, rather than capital cost, determines Strive’s potential outperformance versus Bitcoin, while maintaining high amplification without liquidation is difficult. BlockBeats also reported that Strive bought 2,822 BTC between Oct. 12 and Oct. 13 at about $83,266 each, spending $235 million and bringing holdings to 35,600 BTC.
