Bitcoin Ahr999 indicator falls to 0.5, nears 0.45 threshold

The Bitcoin Ahr999 indicator fell from 0.56 at the start of October to 0.5, leaving it inside the indicator’s stated dollar-cost-averaging range and closer to its 0.45 bottom-fishing threshold, BlockBeats reported on Oct. 25.

The indicator, created by a user identified as ahr999, defines readings below 0.45 as a historical undervaluation or “bottom-fishing” zone. Readings from 0.45 to 1.2 are labeled the dollar-cost-averaging range, while readings above 1.2 are described as an elevated-valuation watch zone.

A market aid rather than a price forecast

BlockBeats described Ahr999 as a tool to help Bitcoin dollar-cost-averaging users combine a recurring plan with timing decisions. The indicator’s range labels do not establish that Bitcoin will fall below 0.45 or rebound from the current level.
