The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission will hold an industry roundtable on December 15 to discuss the viability of 24/7 derivatives trading, the agency announced on October 28.
Operational issues on the agenda
Topics include overnight trading, tokenization, infrastructure, staffing and operational readiness. The discussion will build on the CFTC’s public request for comment earlier this summer.
The meeting will take place at the agency’s Washington headquarters and will be open to the public and livestreamed. The agenda, speakers and registration details will be released later.
