Hong Kong fintech company PhotonPay announced the closing of a $40 million Series C funding round led by Blockchain Capital.

PhotonPay said new investor SBI Group participated, while IDG Capital, GL Ventures and Lightspeed Faction made follow-on investments. The company said the funding will support its stablecoin-focused financial platform.
