Aave Freezes Most Markets After Reported Binance Attack, BlockBeats Reports

Aave risk service provider LlamaRisk said Aave’s guardian froze markets across the network after a reported Binance hot-wallet attack, according to a BlockBeats report citing a governance-forum post.

Reported scope

The report said Aave V3 froze 175 reserve types across 16 networks, while Aave V4 froze 117 reserves across four spoke categories. It also said Aave would continue monitoring attacker wallets and price feeds.

Phased reopening

LlamaRisk said Aave would coordinate a phased unfreezing after funds stopped moving. The linked governance post was not independently retrieved in this review, so the reserve counts, attack context and reopening conditions remain attributed.
