HTX Research analyst Chloe said macro tightening expectations and the Binance security incident had weakened near-term crypto risk appetite, with Bitcoin likely to remain volatile and weakly range-bound in the short term.
Market stress in the analysis
In an article posted by the HTX Research account, Chloe said Bitcoin had briefly fallen below $77,000 and that roughly $1.55 billion in crypto positions had been liquidated over 24 hours, including about $1.34 billion in long positions. The post also cited about $445 million of net inflows into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs over four sessions, slowing to roughly $17.1 million on Oct. 29.
Conditional outlook
The analysis identified $77,000 as a short-term level to watch. It said Bitcoin could test $80,000-$82,000 if sentiment stabilized and ETF inflows continued, while continued panic and liquidations could push the market toward $75,000 or lower.
