Li Jiaqi’s Tmall Double 11 livestream was set to promote AI usage tokens on Nov. 2, with Alibaba Vice President and Qwen Office head Chen Yusen scheduled to appear, according to BlockBeats.
AI services move into e-commerce
The livestream was advertised to begin at 7:30 p.m. and tease a distribution of 20 trillion Tokens. In this context, Tokens refer to AI service usage credits, rather than a cryptocurrency. BlockBeats also reported that Tmall launched a Token recharge center on Sept. 3, offering monthly AI packages and pay-per-use services from several vendors.
