Bitget announced a plan to acquire the shares held by GMO Internet and related shareholders in Bangkok-based digital-asset exchange and broker GMO-Z.com Cryptonomics (Thailand) Co., Ltd., according to a BlockBeats report citing Bitget.
Thai platform

Regional strategy
Bitget CEO Gracy Chen said Thailand is an important Southeast Asian digital-asset market and that the plan would support a localized operating system. The flash described an announced acquisition plan; it did not report closing terms or a completion date.
