Nectar Group, developer of the Bitcoin yield platform HoneyB, raised $5 million in seed financing at a $30 million post-money valuation, according to BlockBeats on Oct. 21, 2026. Portal Ventures led the round, with Peer Venture Partners, Anchorage Digital Ventures, an unnamed family office and angel investors participating.
Financing structure
The round used a SAFE, or simple agreement for future equity, with a 1:1 token purchase warrant. The report said no investor received a board seat, board observer role or adviser position.
Nectar Group co-founder and CEO Josh Gordon said the round began at the end of the fourth quarter of 2025 and closed at the start of the third quarter of 2026. A token purchase warrant does not mean tokens were issued in this financing.
