ZachXBT Reports $2.3M MORPHO Theft Involving Two Addresses

Blockchain investigator ZachXBT said two addresses lost a combined 973,000 MORPHO worth about $2.3 million, with the funds deposited into Tornado Cash, according to a BlockBeats report.

Reported transaction mechanism

ZachXBT said both thefts involved EIP-7702 account-delegation transactions. The report does not provide transaction hashes or independently verify the attribution.

Earlier loss and address link

ZachXBT also said an entity linked to one victim address had lost about $3.5 million on Oct. 9, involving assets claimed from an old bridge and later moved through NEAR Intents to Zcash and the Ironwood privacy pool. He described an on-chain link to an address suspected to belong to Nima Capital. These are attributed blockchain-tracking claims, not independent findings by Market Meridian.
