Analyst Darkfost says Binance’s stablecoin reserves have reached their lowest level this year as centralized-exchange liquidity tightens, according to a BlockBeats report published Oct. 21.
Reserve data cited in the report
BlockBeats said Darkfost’s data showed stablecoin reserves falling across centralized exchanges. On Binance, the exchange’s stablecoin market value has been declining since June and was down about 4.7% over 90 days, according to the report. The figures are attributed to Darkfost and are not presented as a Binance statement.
Analyst’s liquidity view
Darkfost said the reserve decline was not unique to Binance. The analyst argued that stablecoin outflows were adding pressure to the market and that a return of funds to centralized exchanges would be a sign of recovering demand. Those are analytical judgments; the flash does not establish a causal market forecast.
