Bybit may work with established U.S. firms as it seeks to enter the market and compete with platforms such as Robinhood, CEO Ben Zhou said, according to a BlockBeats report.
Regulatory timing remains central
Zhou cited Interactive Brokers as an example of a potential partner with an existing U.S. customer base and an interest in expanding into crypto. He said state-by-state money-transmitter licensing could take two to three years and that Bybit preferred to wait for progress on the CLARITY Act and a clearer regulatory framework.
Bybit is also studying the U.K. market. Zhou said the company plans, at the earliest, to launch a European application covering derivatives and tokenized stocks in the first quarter of 2027. The remarks describe possible plans, not a confirmed partnership, license or launch.
