FINMA Approves BIT’s BBIT Spot Bitcoin ETF for November SIX Listing

FINMA approved BIT Asset Management AG to list the BBIT spot Bitcoin ETF on the SIX Swiss Exchange in November, BlockBeats reported, citing an official announcement.

ETF is designed for direct bank-account access

The report described BBIT as Europe’s first spot Bitcoin ETF. It said the product is intended to let investors access spot Bitcoin through traditional Swiss bank accounts and is supported by BIT’s Swiss high-net-worth client base.

BIT also said it launched U.S. and Hong Kong stock services this year. Its Cactus Custody unit began Swiss custody services last month, according to the announcement.
