Bitcoin Slips Below $81,000 as Global Selloff Hits Tech and Metals

Bitcoin briefly fell below $81,000 after retreating from an earlier rise as a global selloff hit major stock indexes and precious metals, BlockBeats reported. The Nasdaq dropped 2.6% in its biggest one-day decline since June, the chip index fell 6.72% and South Korea’s KOSPI was down more than 20% over the previous month.

Bitcoin was described as relatively resilient

Coinbase Institutional said Bitcoin had outperformed chip stocks during two recent corrections and was no longer being treated as a leveraged proxy for technology shares. CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju pointed to a recovering hash rate and fully utilized miners as signs of improving network fundamentals.

Analysts set conditional levels

Trader Doctor Profit identified $81,000 to $82,000 as support and cited $94,000 as a next target. Trader il Capo placed near-term resistance at $85,000 to $86,000 and said holding $80,000 could open a path toward $90,000. Those levels are attributed market views rather than guaranteed outcomes.
