Lookonchain reported that crypto influencer kimchi received 1.35 billion PUMP tokens after promoting Pump.fun for two days. The wallet transfer was valued at about $6.25 million in the report and was described as suspected promotion compensation, BlockBeats reported.
Pump.fun activity weakened during the period
BlockBeats said Pump.fun revenue fell from $1.61 million to $1.35 million over the past two days, while active addresses declined from 178,539 to 159,492. The figures were attributed to Lookonchain monitoring.
Profile reference removed after promotion
The report said kimchi removed an “@Pumpfun” reference from a profile after the two-day promotion. The transfer and its purpose remain described as reported or suspected rather than confirmed by the parties.
