The metric estimates the average acquisition cost of BTC last transferred one to three months earlier. The report placed it in the mid-$70,000s, while Bitcoin traded in the low-$80,000s at the time of the analysis.
The analyst said the cost line could act as support during pullbacks, but does not guarantee a rebound. Likewise, reaching the indicator’s upper band does not establish a market top. He cautioned that neither measure should be treated as an automatic trading signal.
