Solflare said a security incident at its staking service provider affected validator keys held by the provider, according to BlockBeats.
Rewards paused while validator is migrated
The affected validator cannot currently generate staking rewards. Solflare said user SOL remains safe and no user funds have been touched. The company plans to migrate to a new validator and said users do not currently need to act; guidance will come through the app.
Rewards will remain suspended until the new validator is active. Solflare said it is formulating a compensation plan for users who complete the migration. It also warned that migration will only occur through the app and that the official team will not send direct messages or migration links.
