Russian Crypto Investor Test Draft Submitted, RBC Says

A draft standard for testing investors seeking to buy cryptocurrency on Russian regulated platforms has been submitted to a Bank of Russia committee, RBC reported October 28, citing NAUFOR first vice-president Ekaterina Andreeva.

Proposed testing timetable

Speaking at Crypto Summit 2026, Andreeva said brokers could become the first providers able to test clients by late November. She said test results would be recognized across regulated platforms, rather than only by the service that administered the test.

Andreeva said a common question set and testing process were expected across different types of regulated providers once the standard was published. Her comments describe the expected implementation of a draft submitted for committee consideration.
