Binance customer-service representative sisi said the platform’s investigation into the reported theft had found no evidence of wallet private-key leakage and was not attributable to a single employee or device.
Binance response
In a statement posted on social media, sisi said Binance would cover the reported losses through SAFU and company funds, while roughly $3 billion in affected assets had been frozen on-chain. Binance said deposits remained open, withdrawals were paused as a precaution and could resume within 48 hours, subject to an official announcement. The investigation remains ongoing, and these points are Binance’s statements rather than independent findings.
