Crypto trader Ansem said Bitcoin’s roughly 2% decline after the reported Binance hack should not be read as a bullish signal.
Market structure has changed
Ansem argued that leveraged speculation has shifted from Bitcoin toward altcoins, on-chain meme coins and equity perpetuals. He said that change helps explain why BTC has shown less violent reactions than in earlier cycles.
He cited the Oct. 10 liquidation event, saying Bitcoin traded above $100,000 for weeks while altcoins suffered heavy losses. Ansem said a lack of immediate downside does not prove the downtrend has ended; he attributes the resilience partly to more passive sellers and fewer leveraged BTC speculators.
