SomaXBT disputed Arkham’s labeling of a THORChain address as linked to the Binance hack, saying it was an Asgard vault, according to a Nov. 2 BlockBeats report.
Address attribution challenged
Arkham had said the Binance-hack actor deposited about $4 million into three Binance deposit addresses. SomaXBT said the address TH1YKH9…XAcpPrMv8B was a THORChain Asgard vault and that the related deposits came from THORChain accounts rather than directly from the attacker.
The report attributes the correction to SomaXBT’s post. It does not independently verify the wallet ownership or the underlying transfers, so the address attribution remains disputed.
