Binance’s BTC balance fell from 732,000 to 711,000 after the exchange gradually opened withdrawals from Nov. 1, with 21,064 BTC withdrawn, according to on-chain data cited by analyst Murphy and relayed by BlockBeats on Nov. 3.
Reserve snapshot
The reported withdrawal amount represented less than 3% of the exchange’s BTC balance. BlockBeats also cited an estimate of $139.7 billion in Binance on-chain asset reserves, with BTC and USDT accounting for nearly 60%, BNB 18% and ETH 6%.
Murphy said spreading assets across multiple exchanges could be a reasonable risk-diversification option, while warning that no platform can be guaranteed safe or certain to provide full compensation after an incident. The balance and reserve figures are point-in-time data attributed to the analyst and on-chain observations.
