Binance founder Changpeng Zhao, known as CZ, said recurring security attacks could slow crypto adoption if defenses do not improve, according to a BlockBeats report on an interview.
More incidents before improvement
CZ said new technologies often face painful early development periods. He added that he did not know when the industry would reach a bottom or turning point and that more problems could emerge before conditions improve.
Request for government support
CZ said he, Binance and the wider crypto industry hoped to receive U.S. government support. He added that if anyone could communicate with North Korea, it would likely be the U.S. government. The comments are attributed to CZ and do not establish a government commitment or predict the timing of a market recovery.
