Binance founder Changpeng Zhao said crypto attacks could become more frequent and faster as attackers adopt artificial intelligence, and urged the industry to use AI to strengthen defenses, according to an interview reported by BlockBeats.
AI changes the threat pace
Zhao said hacks that once appeared about monthly could now occur weekly and said four crypto trading platforms had suffered different attacks the previous day. The flash does not name those platforms or provide incident records for independent verification.
Defenses must keep evolving
Zhao said teams should not wait for technology to become fully mature before acting. He argued that defenders need AI capabilities comparable to those used by attackers, while describing security improvements as an ongoing process rather than a finished state.
