A Bloomberg Market Pulse survey produced different year-end Bitcoin median scenarios depending on the U.S. midterm-election outcome, according to BlockBeats. Respondents put the median at $90,800 if Republicans retain both chambers of Congress, $76,450 if Democrats win both, and $84,100 under split control.
Policy scenarios
TD Cowen analyst Jaret Seiberg described Democratic control of both chambers as the least favorable scenario for Bitcoin and crypto policy, while a Republican hold would be more supportive but could still leave the CLARITY Act stalled if the Senate majority is narrow. Prediction-market data cited in the report put the probability of a Democratic sweep at 77%.
Limits of the signals
Bitwise researchers said they had found no statistically significant effect from midterm-election odds on major crypto assets. The survey medians and prediction-market probability are scenario measures, not a Market Meridian forecast or investment advice.
