Binance said it will enable last-traded-price protection for the BULLAUSDT USDⓈ-M perpetual at 14:00 Beijing time on Oct. 28 after citing spot-price divergence across platforms and deposit and withdrawal restrictions. BlockBeats reported that BULLA had fallen more than 50% over 24 hours to a market-data snapshot of $0.073.
Protection changes mark-price and funding limits
During the protection period, Binance will calculate the mark price from the contract’s recent average traded price and cap mark-price changes at about 1% per second. The funding-rate cap will narrow from plus or minus 2.00% to plus or minus 0.005%, while the settlement interval will not automatically switch to hourly if the cap is reached.
Binance said the measure will remain until BULLA spot prices converge enough to form a stable index, followed by a separate end notice. It is a futures risk-control mechanism and does not guarantee a price floor or establish that it caused the reported decline. Read the English BlockBeats flash (original Chinese: BlockBeats flash).
