Intercontinental Exchange’s official X account deleted a post about its planned partnership with Trade.xyz, while a repost containing Trade.xyz’s promotional copy remained visible, BlockBeats reported. The reason for the deletion was not clear.
Proposed U.S. market
Trade.xyz said on October 29 that it and ICE plan to bring 24/7 perpetual futures built on Hyperliquid to the United States. Its announcement said the plan is subject to CFTC approval and would use a dedicated U.S. market with exchange and clearing infrastructure. Planned contracts cover equities, indices, commodities, foreign exchange and crypto.
Approval remains pending
A separate statement from Trade.xyz founder Sergey Shokunin described ICE as the company’s exclusive partner for bringing perpetuals to U.S. regulated markets, subject to regulatory approvals. BlockBeats, citing Bloomberg, said the proposed market would include independent clearing, KYC and AML systems. The deletion does not by itself show that the partnership or proposal has been withdrawn.
