Anthony Morris, the creator of Claude Code’s desktop version, announced his departure from Anthropic, according to a Beating AI report carried by BlockBeats.

Morris helped build a visual interface for managing AI coding tasks, including parallel agent sessions and reviews of progress and code changes, the report said.
In his farewell post, he described leaving the team and product as one of the hardest decisions of his career and said he would share his next steps soon.
