Independent unit and open-source library continue

OpenZeppelin will operate as an independent business unit, with founder Demian Brener reporting to S&P Global Ratings president Yann Le Pallec. The company says OpenZeppelin Contracts will remain open-source, free and publicly maintained.

S&P Global says the acquisition will complement its digital-asset risk assessments by adding smart-contract and underlying-technology expertise.
