Tech Earnings to Test Durability of U.S. Stock Rebound

Meta, Tesla and other technology companies are due to report this week as investors assess whether the recent U.S. stock rebound can hold, according to BlockBeats.

Earnings test

BlockBeats said U.S. technology stocks rebounded Monday after a heavy selloff, but the market’s ability to stabilize could depend on whether large-company earnings support the profitability case for the artificial-intelligence investment cycle. SpaceX was also scheduled to report after Tuesday’s close, the flash said.

Analyst caution

Barclays Global Research chair Ajay Rajadhyaksha called the week’s technology earnings crucial and said Barclays had moved its risk-asset stance to neutral. Other analysts cited by the report said companies may need to show that actual profits can meet the growth expectations embedded in stock prices.
