SpaceX reported third-quarter revenue through September up 161% year over year to $14.58 billion, according to a BlockBeats report. Net income turned from a $1.1 billion loss a year earlier to $4.4 billion profit, while adjusted EBITDA rose 306% to $8.8 billion.
AI compute outlook remains a projection
Superintelligence cloud revenue reached $7.6 billion for the quarter, up $5 billion sequentially. Management said the payback period for newly deployed AI compute had fallen below one year; Elon Musk said it could eventually reach six months.
Musk said he would be surprised if SpaceX had less than 13 GW of compute online by the end of 2027. He also projected year-end 2027 recurring revenue of $500 billion to $1 trillion. These are management and Musk projections, not completed capacity or independently verified guidance.
