U.S. Index Futures Rise as Technology Shares Gain Before the Open

U.S. index futures were higher before the Oct. 21 session, with Nasdaq 100 futures up about 0.80%, while several technology and crypto-linked stocks also advanced, BlockBeats reported.

Pre-market movers

Citing BIT (bit.com) market data, the flash said SpaceX was up nearly 9% at $161.08 and Tesla had risen 2.67% to $383.68. It attributed the moves to quarterly-results optimism for SpaceX and merger talk around Tesla, without linking to the underlying reports.

Technology and crypto-linked shares

AI-related names listed as higher included Nvidia (+1.8%), AMD (+2.5%), Intel (+2.9%), SanDisk (+2.9%), Western Digital (+2.1%) and Seagate Technology (+2.4%). Optical and neocloud names Credo, Lumentum and CoreWeave were reported up more than 5.2%, about 3.98% and about 2.95%, respectively.

The flash also listed BNB Standard (BNC) up more than 7.8% and Strategy (MSTR) up about 1.99%. The figures are a single pre-market snapshot attributed to BIT and BlockBeats; they are not a forecast or a recommendation.
