Microsoft rose more than 1% in intraday trading as BlockBeats, citing BIT (Bit.com) market data, reported that the company would offer voluntary separation packages to 60,000 eligible employees.

The reported packages would be available to eligible employees on participating teams in Canada, India, the United Kingdom and the United States at level 70 or below.
BIT data cited by BlockBeats put Microsoft’s market capitalization at about $3.94 trillion in the snapshot.
