Intel said it will acquire Israeli quantum-computing startup Classiq in a deal expected to close in the first half of 2027, BlockBeats reported.
Software and hardware combination
The transaction would combine Classiq’s quantum-algorithm software platform with Intel’s silicon-qubit hardware capabilities. Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan said the combination would turn the company’s quantum-computing unit into a full-stack business.
