Franklin Templeton Launches Two Bitcoin Dividend-Reinvestment ETFs

Franklin Templeton launched two U.S.-listed ETFs that combine U.S. equity exposure with a systematic Bitcoin dividend-reinvestment strategy, according to the company announcement reported by BlockBeats.

FBEQ and FIBT

The funds are FBEQ, which tracks the VettaFi U.S. Large Cap 500 Bitcoin Dividend Reinvestment Index, and FIBT, which tracks the VettaFi U.S. Innovation 100 Bitcoin Dividend Reinvestment Index. BlockBeats reported management fees of 0.09% and 0.19%, respectively, and an initial allocation of about 95% U.S. equities and 5% Bitcoin exposure.

The report says dividends are reinvested into Bitcoin exposure and that the funds use Bitcoin ETPs, futures and options rather than holding Bitcoin directly. Bitcoin weighting is reduced under the index rules when it exceeds specified thresholds.
