Intel Outlook Weighs on INTC as TradingBeats Reports Large Perpetual Positions

TradingBeats reported a sharp move in Intel’s INTC perpetual contract after the company’s earnings report, while Intel’s own release projected fourth-quarter revenue below market expectations and said PC weakness could persist into the first half of 2027.

Reported derivatives activity

BlockBeats, citing TradingBeats, said trader CBB held about $11.65 million in INTC shorts with roughly $1.79 million in unrealized profit. It also reported a whale opening about $7.57 million in INTC longs. Those position figures remain attributed to TradingBeats.

Intel’s outlook

Intel’s release forecast fourth-quarter revenue of $15 billion to $16 billion, GAAP earnings per share of $0.10 and non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.25. The company said PC-market weakness could last into the first half of 2027.
